David Cameron Bullies The Underprivileged Yet Again.

Having considered very carefully the social policy reveiw's findings David Cameron has decided that the parents of truant children should have their benefits cut. "That will almost certainly cure the problem of truancy overnight," the part-time Prime Minister told our reporter. "The problem with these children is that they have no respect for authority so undermining their parents is obviously the way forward." Asked what he would do about those children who play truant but whose parents are not on benefits the Prime Minister stared blankly at the reporter before adding; "I wouldn't like voters to think this is simply a way to reduce benefits to save money - it's true that's what it is, but I wouldn't want voters to think it." Asked about his own frequent truancy in Italy, Spain and Cornwall, the Prime Minister said; "My parents aren't on benefits so it doesn't count. Anyway I work really hard for nearly two months every year and deserve my holidays because I'm a millionaire." Experts with some real knowledge in this area were sceptical. "Not all truants are from underprivileged backgrounds," one such expert told us. "This smeghead might just as well cut benefits to parents simply because their children are adolescents and get it over and done with. What's he going to do to working parents - tax them more?"
